Dr. Veronica Taylor-Porter is a dedicated, professional, and compassionate Hematologist/Oncologist who has been practicing medicine since 1981. She migrated from Cuba in 2002 to become board-certified by the Jamaica Medical Council 2002 as a consultant in her expertise.

Dr.Taylor is a pioneer in the treatment of cancer. With more than thirty formidable years dedicated to the treatment of benign and malignant hematological disorders and clinical oncology, she is also involved in the management of all types of cancer including breast cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and gynecological malignancies.

Dr.Taylor was the conceptualizer in the establishment of the Oncology Department for Southern Regional Health Authority as well as her long tenure at Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) from 2003-2023.
